After this, he moved to Memphis, TN, where he was the Pediatric Neurologist for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He returned to NJ after 6 years in Tennessee, and prior to joining our faculty Dr. Thompson spent 13 years as the Section Chief of Pediatric Neurology and Director of the Neuro-Oncology Program at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.  When not working here, Dr. Thompsons spends time every summer in the Catoctin Mountains of north-central Maryland, as the Director of Medicine for Camps Airy and Louise.
