Personal History:

Dr. Slobogean earned his MD at the University of British Columbia, where he also completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery. He completed a second residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System and went on to complete a fellowship in upper limb reconstruction and orthopaedic trauma at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto.

Dr. Slobogean’s special interests include orthopaedic traumatology, pelvis and acetabulum surgery, treatment of nonunion and malunion, and posttraumatic shoulder and elbow reconstruction.

Research Interests:

Dr. Slobogean's research interests include treatment of pelvic ring injury and sacral fracture.


Clinical Specialty:

Dr. Slobogean specializes in orthopaedic trauma surgery, including upper limb reconstruction.
