Personal History:

Dr. Alattar graduated from Almustansiriya School of Medicine in Iraq. She finished her Internal Medicine residency at Medstar Harbor Hospital in 2009. In 2011 she completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the National Institutes of Health. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Endocrinology.

Clinical Speciality:

Dr. Alattar sees patients at the the University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Midtown campus.

Dr. Alattar has interest in managing patients with both type I and type II diabetes, and obesity. She also has experience in the management of thyroid disorders, calcium disorders, adrenal and pituitary disease.
