Dr. Mishra will have a primary focus on volume development of the clinical program at UCH. He will also assume the lead role in growing the UCH radiation oncology based clinical trials and research program. Dr. Mishra is experienced in the latest radiation modalities including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). Dr. Mishra has very been active in research endeavors during his training years. His clinical and research efforts have yielded over 25 publications and 19 national/international presentations. He will have a primary departmental focus on Clinical Effectiveness Research (CER).
Dr. Mishra received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2008 and completed his internship at the McGaw Medical Center in 2009. While in medical school, Dr. Mishra served as a Fellow and completed the Clinical Research Training Program at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Mishra is currently completing his Radiation Oncology residency training at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he serves as Chief Resident.
