Luis A. Toledo-Espiett, O.D., joined the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in August 2012. As Faculty and service provider at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus, Dr. Toledo-Espiett duties include primary care in the treatment and management of ocular disease, contact lens fitting of all types, including specialty lenses for specific anterior segment medical conditions, like Keratoconus and post surgical corneal anomalies.
Dr. Toledo-Espiett received his Doctorate degree in 2004 from the Inter American University, School of Optometry of Puerto Rico and is a Board Certified Optometrist, licensed in the State of Maryland, as well as in the District of Columbia. He is also an active member of the American Optometric Association, Maryland Optometric Association, American Board of Optometry, National Optometric Association and Scleral Lens Society.
