Melissa Armstrong, MD joined the Movement Disorders Center in January 2012. In addition to her training in neurology and movement disorders, she has a master's degree in healthcare research. Her clinical and research interests focus on the memory and thinking problems that develop in Parkinson's Disease and atypical parkinsonisms and how to help patients and their families with these problems. Dr. Armstrong is also a consultant for the American Academy of Neurology regarding evidence-based medicine and developing guidelines about the best care for neurology patients.
