Personal History
Dr. Armstrong trained in neurology at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, where she also served as an Instructor of Neurology. She subsequently did a clinical fellowship in movement disorders at the Toronto Western Hospital Movement Disorders Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and obtained a MSc in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research. She joined the faculty at University of Maryland School of Medicine in January 2012.
