Dr. Siaton received her M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and rheumatology fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Maryland where she has been on faculty since 2011. Dr. Siaton also serves as the associate program director for the rheumatology fellowship.
In the medical school, Dr. Siaton is the Co-Course Director of the Introduction to Clinical Medicine II course for second-year medical students. She is also house core faculty member in the Lois Young-Thomas House and mentors a core group of medical students.
Dr. Siaton is currently pursuing a Master of Education in the Health Professions and is interested in curriculum and educational program development and evaluation.
