Jeffrey Janofsky is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a Past President of the Maryland Psychiatric Society and of the American Academy of Psychiatry and Law (AAPL). He now serves as AAPL's Medical Director. He is a practicing inpatient psychiatrist and runs the Community Psychiatry Inpatient Service at Johns Hopkins. His research interests include improving inpatient safety practices, and suicide and violence to others risk reduction.
Dr. Janofsky co-directs the Fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and directs the Psychiatry and Law Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Janofsky specializes in Forensic and General Adult Psychiatry.
