Dr. Saliaris joined the University of Maryland in 2009 after completing his Electrophysiology training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board certified in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Saliaris performs a broad range of procedures for the treatment of electrical disorders of the heart. These include implantation and extraction of pacemakers, defibrillators, and biventricular devices for cardiac resynchronization therapy. He also performs ablation procedures for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.
