Personal History
Dr. Sansur earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and obtained his masters degree in clinical research from Duke University. He has completed a clinical research training program fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and a general surgery internship and residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Prior to joining the University of Maryland, Dr. Sansur completed a Combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Fellowship at the University of Virginia. He has expertise in adult and pediatric scoliosis surgery and correction of spinal deformity. He is also the Assistant Program Director for the Department.
