Research Interests:

Dr. Srivastava’s research interests include hybrid coronary interventions and delineating the appropriate sequence of revascularization and appropriate patient selection for this approach. She is also investigating the use of optic coherence tomography (OCT) imaging for the evaluation of coronary microvasculature in patients who have undergone cardiac transplant and are being evaluated for transplant vasculopathy. Another area of interest is the evaluation of left atrial appendage morphology by computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) along with stroke risk correlation, specifically in women.

Dr. Srivastava’s clinical interests include coronary interventions, spanning radial angiography and intervention, plaque modification utilizing rotational atherectomy, left main intervention and mechanical support devices. She is also interested in structural heart interventions including left atrial appendage ligation and left ventricular remodeling devices as well as atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure. She has an office and hospital-based practice at the University of Maryland Cardiology Practice in Westminster, MD, where she sees patients with a broad range of cardiovascular diseases.
