Shana O. Ntiri, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. Dr. Ntiri is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she studied English Literature and Boston University where she obtained a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She received her medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University in 2005 and completed her residency at the University of Maryland's Department of Family and Community Medicine in 2008, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Ntiri has been the Medical Director for the Baltimore City Cancer Program and the Liaison for Clinical Research Community Outreach at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center since 2010. She is a member of the Population Sciences Program within the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center Program in Oncology, which fosters collaboration with investigators throughout the University of Maryland System to improve population-based cancer outcomes.
