Personal History
Dr. Atkins completed her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virgini, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She continued her training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. After a brief time on faculty at New York University School of Medicine, she joined the faculty here at University of Maryland. She has an interest in high risk pregnancy management as well as prenatal diagnosis. She is also committed to resident and fellow education.
