Deborah Medoff, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Medoff is also the Director of the Biostatistics Core for the Division of Serviced Research. Dr. Medoff joined the UMB faculty after receiving her Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1990. She was head of Biostatistics for the Inpatient Program at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC) prior to joining the Division of Services Research in 2003. Currently, Dr. Medoff provides methodological and statistical consultation to the VISN 5 MIRECC, the Center for Mental Health Services Research and the Mental Health Systems Improvement Collaborative.

Her primary area of research at the MPRC was the statistical analysis of neuroimaging data (PET, MRI, fMRI). In particular, the application of Covariance Structure Modeling to assess network models of brain function. Currently, Dr. Medoff provides statistical consultation to the Center for Mental Health Services Research and the Mental Health Systems Improvement Collaborative.
