Mark J. Ehrenreich, MD is Assistant Professor and Director of Education of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Training Program, the Director of the Division of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and the Director of the Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Ehrenreich received his B.A. (major: biology-psychology) summa cum laude at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 1980 and his MD cum laude at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical System. Dr. Ehrenreich joined the University of Maryland faculty in 1989. Dr. Ehrenreich is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Fellow of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine.
Dr. Ehrenreich's research interest include the psychiatric care of the medically ill, delirium, and psychiatric education.
