My primary areas of interest and expertise lie in clinical cardiology with a focus on invasive and interventional procedures. I have been active on the staff of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the University of Maryland Hospital since coming to this institution in 1984, and am an experienced operator in most cardiac procedures. My clinical practice includes both inpatient and outpatient medicine.

My research interests are in contrast nephropathy and in revascularization strategies in patients with acute and chronic coronary disease
