Dr. Stafford’s research interests are in contrast nephropathy and in revascularization strategies in patients with acute and chronic coronary disease.
Dr. Stafford’s primary areas of interest and expertise lie in clinical cardiology with a focus on invasive and interventional procedures. He has been active on the staff of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the University of Maryland Medical Center since coming to the institution in 1984 and is an experienced operator in most cardiac procedures. His clinical practice includes both inpatient and outpatient medicine.
