Personal History
Dr. Cohen is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency training in Psychiatry. He joined the faculty in 1983 and has been active in clinical care, teaching and administration, serving as Clincial Director of the Walter P. Carter Center from 2004 to 2009. In 2005 he received the Virginia Huffer Award for Excellence in Post-Graduate Teaching.
Research Interests
Research interests include the effectiveness of early intervention in newly diagnosed patients with schizophrenia.
