Dr. Tippett was born in Baltimore and has lived here his entire life. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1986 and completed his residency in Neurology in 1990 as Chief Resident. He also completed a Fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology in 1991. He served as Chief of Neurology at St. Agnes Hospital for several years. He now has a private practice in Catonsville. He continues to teach University of Maryland medical students the Neurologic examination and has served as Neurology Attending at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
