Fellow Appointments

The UMB Policy Concerning Employment of Employee Trainee Personnel (Table of Contents located on the right menu or you access the whole Policy.) in the Fellows Series addresses the specific criteria for each of the four types of fellows listed below.

• Post Doctoral Fellow
• Clinical Fellow
• Research Fellow
• Academic Fellow

Please verify with the policy that your candidate fulfills the criteria necessary for the fellowship before forwarding the necessary documentation for the fellowship to the Office of Academic Administration.

If you are interested in appointing a Clinical Instructor/Fellow please click here. The title Clinical Instructor/Fellow is used in rare circumstances to allow Clinical Fellows to obtain medical staff privileges.
